Very realistic fly and not too difficult to tie. Thanks.

I find your binding instructions for the sea bass herring fantastic and would like to try it yourself. unfortunately I do not know what kind hose you are using since and where I can obtain it. for an answer I would be very grateful.

    • Hi Frank, The body material is E-Zbody tube, you can find a link to their website in the article ‘E-Z sand eel’ is you search in the box top right on the blog.

    Hi Barry,

Great looking fly and very easy to tie!!!! I have struggled to get hold of the E-Z body tube in the past, have you got any suggestions where I can get it from.

    All the best

  5. I’m just tweaking this pattern slightly and it’s going to perfectly imitate the baitfish around here. Should work well for stripers.
