The aim of this blog is to connect fly-tyers all over the world, to share, techniques, patterns, information and knowledge.

Is every fish a nail, if you have the correct hammer?

A modern classic, the Klinkhammer a pattern that works all over the world. There are many ways to tie it, heres mine that uses a not so well known parachute hackling technique. Have a great weekend tyers of the world!

  1. you can tie off by putting super glue on the thread and taking 2 wraps around the thread and post . leave the thread hanging while you cut the post to size and the glue is dry . You can also touch the bottom of the post with super glue and the post will be stiff enough to wrap hackel around Bill J
