Tying the klinkhopper

 

A grasshopper tied Klinkhammer style, that has worked well for me and gives a lttle different presentation but a great footprint of a hopper.

Hook: Mustad C49 14-6
Thread: Dark green
Body: Bright green dubbing
Rib: Tying thread
Wing: Yellow dyed partridge hackle
Legs: Yellow pheasant tail fibresThorax: Ostrich herl
Hackle: Polypropylene post & Yellow Grizzle hackle
