Tying the Hornberg

The Hornberg is an all-purpose favourite, both as a dry fly and streamer, especially highly regarded in New England states, where a number of variants have evolved.

Body: Flat silver tinsel
Wing: Yellow calf tail and mallard flank
Cheeks: Jungle cock
Hackle: Brown & Grizzle mixed
