Mastering Parachute Patterns with Barry Clarke:  Parachute flies are extremely versatile and can be adapted to imitate almost any insect, but can also be challenging to master. In this class Barry will walk and talk you through several creative patterns, techniques  and styles of parachute hackle, that will change the way you tie.  Barry will provided all the hooks and materials needed.

These classes provide a rare opportunity to learn from a world-class instructor in an intimate, hands-on setting.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, our Special Classes are designed to help you reach your tying goals. Classes are offered each day of the Show, and your class purchase includes admission for that day.

 Please check in at the Doubletree Ballroom IFTS registration desk 15 minutes before your class begins. Your instructor will meet you there.

Important Notes:

Most classes require some tying experience; a few may demand advanced skills. Beginners are welcome but should expect instruction beyond the basics.

Students must bring their own vise, tools, lamp (if needed), and an extension cord.

Materials for the featured patterns will be provided, though bringing a small selection of your own is encouraged.

If a class is cancelled, you will be notified before the weekend and given the option to switch classes or receive a refund.
