This standard yet effective CDC midge pupa can be tied in various colour combinations and sizes. Red, grey and brown being some of the other favorites.
The larger sizes are best fished static on still waters and if you omit the tail and tie it in 18-22 sizes, its really effective on smaller fast flowing streams.
