Hair wing Adams dry fly tied by Barry Ord Clarke

Hair wing Adams dry fly

This is a very interesting variant of one of the most popular dry flies in the world. Surprisingly this great pattern, that doubles just as well for a caddis fly as it does a mayfly is very little used, especially in Europe. Tie it in # 12-18 and fish it as a general purpose fly and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
