This is a model pattern for most mayfly nymphs, all you need to do is change the hook size and material colour to imitate a whole number of different nymphs. A good pattern to know!
- Hook: Mustad S82 # 8
- Tying thread: Sheer 14/0 Tan
- Tail: Speckled grey partridge hackle
- Rib: Hot Yellow UTC wire
- Abdomen: Pheasant tail fibres & SuperFine Chocolate brown dubbing
- Wingcase: Pheasant tail
- Thorax: SuperFine Chocolate brown dubbing
- Legs: Speckeld partridge hackle
